Dr. Hemachandran currently serves as the Advisor to the Government of Qatar. In his career spread over more than 25 years, he had served Government of Kerala, The European Commission, The US Government, The German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) and World Health Organization in various capacities. He had won Meritorious Service Award (US Government Department of State) in 2011 and Roll of Honour in 2011 (USAID India).
