Dr. Mohanan Nair comes with vast experience spread over three decades, as a clinician, public health researcher, administrator and a teacher. He is a Fogarty Fellow in Bioethics and his areas of interest are Health administration, Health Policy, Bioethics and Chronic disease epidemiology. He was also involved in clinical practice in the field of Diabetology and community-based awareness generation and public health activities in the field of Non Communicable Diseases. He worked as the first State Nodal Officer for Kerala for the National Programme for prevention and control of Diabetes, Hypertension and Stroke.
