Jinbert Lordson A, MSc, CCRA, is the Registrar and Associate Professor at the Global Institute of Public Health (GIPH). An internationally trained professional with over two decades of experience, he brings extensive expertise in clinical research, academic administration, and public health education.

Academic Background

Mr. Lordson holds a Master’s degree in Life Sciences and a Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Research from Humber College, University of Guelph, Toronto. His academic training combines scientific rigor with applied clinical research expertise.

Professional Experience

With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Lordson has been actively involved in the management and administration of national and international clinical trials. His work spans coordination, regulatory compliance, and operational management of complex research projects.

At GIPH, he plays a dual role as an academic and administrator, teaching Master of Public Health students while overseeing key institutional functions as Registrar.

Research and Contributions

Mr. Lordson’s research interests include tuberculosis, vaccine hesitancy, non-communicable diseases, and cardiovascular health, particularly atrial fibrillation. He coordinates one of the largest cohorts of atrial fibrillation patients in South Asia through the Kerala Atrial Fibrillation Registry.

He has been widely published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, contributing to evidence-based public health research and clinical studies.

Leadership and Institutional Role

Mr. Lordson played a key role in the establishment of GIPH, leading the process of obtaining institutional certifications and government approvals. As Registrar, he continues to provide strategic leadership in academic administration, including coordinating high-level Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), international collaborations, and grant development initiatives.
