Educational and professional background
Dr. Archana K. completed her MPH at GIPH and qualified for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) on her first attempt while she was in the final year of the programme. After graduation, she worked with Kerala University of Health Sciences, the National AYUSH Mission and Project One Health, gaining experience in research, public health and programme management.
She is now a PhD Scholar at the Regional Cancer Centre in Thiruvananthapuram, a well-recognised institution for cancer research.
Why I chose GIPH and my programme
My path from a GIPH student to a researcher has been deeply fulfilling. The MPH gave me a foundation in public health, research and programme management that helped me pursue further opportunities in the field.
