Educational and professional background
Dr. Bindhya Vijayan, MPH, BAMS, is an Insights Partner at Roche India Pvt Ltd in Kochi. She is a public health professional and implementation researcher with a strong background in clinical medicine, epidemiology and health systems research.
She earned her MPH from GIPH under Kerala University of Health Sciences and her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Her work brings together traditional clinical foundations and advanced public health methods.
Why I chose GIPH and my programme
The MPH at GIPH complemented my clinical training in Ayurveda and expanded my academic path into epidemiology, implementation science and health systems research.
My experience at GIPH
My public health training supports work across implementation science, community-based cancer screening, paediatric and geriatric health, access to oncology care and the integration of palliative care.
I have led or contributed to projects with Roche Pharma India, Karkinos Healthcare, CHRI-PATH and Pallium India. My work uses both qualitative and quantitative research methods, and I have authored peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on public health challenges, geriatric health and health equity.
