Dr. Gopika Gopinathan

Dr. Gopika Gopinathan works as a Medical Officer on a public health project in Palakkad, Kerala, that provides comprehensive medical care to tribal populations. The project is a collaborative effort involving HLL Lifecare Ltd., Kerala Medical Services Corporation Limited (KMSCL) and the Kerala Tribal Department.

Through this work, care is brought directly to people in tribal colonies, schools and hostels.

I am thankful and proud that I chose GIPH for my postgraduate study. The programme offered the academic challenge, research exposure and mentorship that I needed to grow as both a public health professional and a person.

My experience at GIPH was more than transformative; it was life-changing. Although the MPH programme was challenging, the exceptional faculty made it engaging. Their compassion and wisdom extended beyond the lecture hall, and their guidance helped us grow personally as well as academically.

They did more than teach facts. They encouraged critical and independent thinking, which has had a lasting influence on my personal and professional life. It was a privilege to learn from such inspiring people.
