Dr. Revathy K. is a State Consultant for Kerala under the National Programme on Climate Change and Human Health. She is an alumna of GIPH MPH Batch 5, 2022-2024.
Why I chose GIPH and my programme
I valued GIPH for its real-world approach to learning and its opportunities to think differently about public health. The chance to engage with experts from reputed international organisations and learn about public health systems in different countries gave me a broader, practical view of global health.
My experience at GIPH
GIPH played an important role in shaping both my personal and professional identity. Learning extended beyond textbooks through meaningful discussions, research, internships and opportunities to apply ideas in practice.
The faculty were knowledgeable, supportive and approachable. They believed in their students and encouraged us to grow. They guided me through research, internships and interviews, and helped me strengthen my communication and presentation skills. The programme also introduced us to new ideas, technology and innovation, preparing us to work in different settings and make a meaningful contribution.
For me, GIPH was more than a college. It was a family that encouraged learning, confidence and purpose. I am grateful for the experience and proud to be a GIPHian.
