GIPH hosted an academic session with Dr. Shibu Vijayan on 20 April 2026 on the role of artificial intelligence in tuberculosis care and control. The session considered how AI can support detection, surveillance, treatment follow-up and programme monitoring, while emphasizing the importance of reliable data, ethical practice and informed human oversight.
