The Global Institute of Public Health (GIPH) conducted the webinar “Scope and Opportunities of the Master of Public Health (MPH)” on 23 November 2025. The session brought together public health academics, practitioners and professionals from international agencies and global health organizations to discuss the relevance of MPH education, career pathways, research opportunities and professional development.
The discussion examined how MPH training develops the interdisciplinary knowledge, leadership skills and practical perspective needed to address contemporary health challenges. Speakers also reflected on opportunities in public health practice, policy, research and global health, and on the role of the MPH programme in preparing professionals to strengthen health systems.
