Dr. Monika S. Sawhney is a health economics and outcomes researcher and a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Academic and Professional Experience
Dr. Sawhney’s academic work combines public health, health economics, and outcomes research. At UNC Charlotte, she is also affiliated with Africana Studies, Women’s and Gender Studies, and the School of Data Science.
Teaching and Academic Leadership
She previously served as Associate Professor and Director of the Bachelor of Public Health programme at Marshall University and as a Clinical Associate Professor with the Department of Cardiology Services at Marshall University’s Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine.
